Rho Alpha Sigma is a National Resident Assistant Honor Society where institutions from around the country recognize their paraprofessional staff for their contributions to their Residence Life departments and their institution. The theme of our First Annual Conference, Light the Way: Path to Excellence will focus on the excellence that Resident Assistants can bring the world by positively impacting their community. Resident Assistants have the ability to influence the lives of students on the daily basis. At the First Annual Conference we will be a time where these Resident Assistants can interact with one another and network nationally for the first time. The First Annual Rho Alpha Sigma Conference will allow both members and non-members to learn life lessons that will assist them for years to come.

 

The keynote speaker at the First Annual Conference will be Jon P. Wheeler from the University of Arizona. Jon, as our National Advisor and Founder, has worked in Residence Life and Student Affairs for sixteen years, starting at Iowa State University, then the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and finally the University of Arizona. Jon has a passion for helping young professionals find their path to excellence and seeing people’s passion ignite!
